Hello!
I have gone super-CAS today for the new CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge! Originally my card was completely black and white, but I thought it needed just a little something extra. Who can go past a rainbow when the opportunity arises? :-)
I used Mama Elephant We Click stamps to create my card.
I just know that the rest of the design team have made wonderful cards using this sketch. Please take a wander over to their posts and leave some love.
Thanks for visiting me!

Playing Cards with Michele (one-L)
Hello!
Today I'm playing cards with Michele (one-L) Ferguson and we're CASEing Kara!
I "met" Michele when she launched her blog in May 2014. Michele was a fully-fledged cardmaker when her blog was born, and I just loved every single card she made from the very first post. Nothing has changed, every card is awesome. Michele and I are now teamies on CAS(E) This Sketch.
A few weeks ago, I saw Michele playing cards with Chriss Blagrave and I thought it sounded like a very fun idea! So I told Michele that I would love to play cards with her, and here we are! The idea is that we choose a card that we both admire and CASE it. After some to-ing and fro-ing, we couldn't find a stamp set that we both owned that would work for this project, so it's a very freestyle game. ;-)
This is my card.
I used SU! Garden in Bloom stamps. This may be my new favourite stamp set! I coloured with Copics, and like Kara's card, I also coloured the background. It's a great effect! I pretty much copied Kara's card - I loved the brightly coloured flowers, the dark background, and the vellum overlay on her card.
This is Kara's card that provides the inspiration.
I can't wait to see what Michele has come up with! This is going live late at night for me, so I will have to wait until I wake up to go and take a look.
I have one other picture, which is my background without the vellum. It was so pretty, I decided it deserved to be seen clearly. I almost didn't cover it up!
Thanks for visiting!

A missed deadline...
Hello!
On the week-end I made a card for Freshly Made Sketches, but when I went to enter I thought it was closed. After checking back, I discovered that I was looking at the list of sponsors' design team entries, not the challenge entries. By then, the link had really closed, sigh! Next time I need to scroll further down to make sure I'm at the right spot in the page! After all that, I decided to share my card anyway. ;-)
I used my brand new set SU! Garden in Bloom. I love this set. I have another card coming up using it later this week.
Tomorrow is my littlest girl's 8th birthday. I still need to make a card... and ice some cupcakes... and wrap some presents. I'd better get cracking!
Thanks for coming to visit!

CAS(E) This Sketch 137 - Happy Father's Day!
Hello!
For those of you in Australia, this serves as your reminder - Father's Day approaches! If, like me, you have a Dad who is overseas, you need to get cracking and send that card! I think I may be too late. Italian mail is notoriously slow. I usually allow three weeks for a card to get there from here. I used the CAS(E) This Sketch sketch for my Dad's card.
I used SU! Crazy About You stamps and Hello You dies. Colours are Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, and PTI Hawaiian Shores.
I took the colours from last week's Colour Q. I wish I'd made a card in time to join in, it was a great colour combo! Something completely different to my usual style, and I loved being stretched in this direction. :-)
Thanks for dropping by to visit me! I hope you join us at CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

Super Girl strikes again!
Hello!
I know there are only so many times I can show off my little Super Girl, but I love her so much that I think she'll continue to make regular appearances here on the blog. :-) Maybe I secretly have a desire to be a Super Hero myself... ;-) My girls reckon that this girl looks like me. :-) I usually make my Super Girls just like my girls - fair and blonde - but I stretched myself to make darker hair and skin this time. I'll get more adventurous, I promise (as the Copic collection grows slowly)!
I used MFT You're Super stamps, and the mask die came from Super Boy. He was happy to share.
I used the MFT Sketch Challenge sketch for my design layout.
The colour scheme came from Colour Me! Challenge.
Thank-you for visiting me!

CAS(E) This Sketch 136
Hello!
It's time for a new sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch! It's a very simple sketch this week, which sometimes makes it very hard to make a card! Luckily, this time, inspiration struck pretty quickly. :-)
I used PTI On the Farm stamps to create my ducks in a row.
You know what would work really well with this sketch? A perfect line of washi. ;-)
Thanks for coming to visit! I hope you take a little wander to visit the other design team members also!

Pinterest Inspired 1
Hello!
There is a new challenge on the block! And it's right up my alley! Pinterest Inspired Challenge. :-) I was inspired on the first day, but it has taken me a little while to sit down to make a card in response. Thank goodness the challenge runs all month long!
I used PTI Ruby Rose stamps to create this 80th birthday card for my very dear Aunty, who is celebrating her birthday today. We had a wonderful family lunch together with all of her kids, grand-kids, and great-grand-kids with a few cousins, nieces, nephews thrown into the mix. :-)
So this inspiration was irresistible, so pretty!
Thanks for coming to visit!
