Hello!
It's time for the new CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge! This week we are running our first ever CAS(E) for a Cause. Details can be found over at the CAS(E) This Sketch post, but the basic idea is that you are invited to create a pet-themed card that can be used by an animal shelter. You don't need to create an animal-themed card to join us this week, but if you would like to do so and then send it in, that would be wonderful! Address details on our main challenge blog post.
This is my card - the closest stamp I have to a "pet", a balloon dog! :-)
I used Avery Elle Party Animal stamps.
Thanks for dropping by to visit!

Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop
Hello!
It's been a while since I took part in a Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, and I thought I had better rectify that right away! :-) I've used the beautiful inspiration to create a birthday card for my lovely husband who happens to love orange.
I used PTI Turning a New Leaf and Stylish Sentiments: Birthday stamps, PTI Plain Jane paper, and PTI woodgrain texture plate.
I'll link up first thing in the morning (the hop goes live at midnight here, and I'm a bit tired to wait up that late!).
Thank-you for visiting! I can't wait to hop along with everyone.

CAS(E) This Sketch 195
Hello!
For this week's CAS(E) This Sketch I am working on my Christmas stash! :-) The sketch looks like paint splotches and I'm thinking snowflakes, and we don't even get snowflakes here. ;-) One of my favourite Christmas colour themes is blue. I don't know why, I just like it. Here Christmas is all HEAT and BLUE SKIES and sometimes, if we're lucky, BLUE OCEANS (if we're at the beach). I dream of a cold and snowy Christmas. I've done that once (just north of Vancouver) and I hope to do it again (maybe in Scotland, happily in Canada).
I used PTI Snowflake Serenade stamps (an oldie but a goodie).
This sketch is so cool! I really want to go back and give these paint splotches a good go. I think acrylics would be best. I might need some new paints...
Thanks for visiting! I hope you're inspired to join us in the fun!

Fusion - Flowers
Hello!
It's time for a new Fusion Card Challenge! I used only the inspiration photo this week. I love that sketch, but the inspiration photo is just so delicious that my creativity jumped there. :-)
I used Altenew Beautiful Day stamps and did some masking.
I hope you're inspired to join us in the fun! I hope I can find some time to come back and revisit both sketch and inspiration photo myself. They're both awesome!
I'm also entering into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where they are asking us to Think Pink!
Thanks for visiting!

CAS(E) This Sketch 194 in Red, Orange, and Yellow
Hello!
I've had some issues this week with photography/computer uploads, so please forgive the not-so-perfect iPhone photo of my card! This is my card for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch.
I used Mama Elephant So Breezy and Wplus9 Pretty Peonies stamps to create my card.
I selected the red, orange, and yellow colour scheme in response to the One Layer Simplicity challenge this month.
I'm a bit tired today. I have a FitBit and I've been joining step challenges with my workmates for the Workweek Hustle. Some of my workmates are unstoppable! I decided to try to keep up. Even with over 10,000 steps a day, I'm lagging behind in last position. I'm determined though. One day I'm going to make it to the top of the ladder, haha! Today I'll pass 14,000 steps before I hit bed. The good news is that I'm getting fit very quickly. ;-)
Thanks for visiting! I hope you join us at CAS(E) This Sketch this week.

CAS(E) This Sketch 193
Hello!
Another week has flown by and we're back with the new CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge. :-) This week I've pretty much copied the sketch. I liked it so much, I didn't want to change a thing!

I used WaltzingMouse Fine Feathers and PTI Get Well stamps. I created that coloured strip with blended distress inks and a little bit of sparkle.
This is a great sketch! I hope you're inspired to join us this week!

Fusion - Bright Fun
Hello!
It's time for another Fusion Challenge! This one has FABULOUS inspiration! I used both sketch and inspiration photo to create my fusion Christmas card in very non-traditional colours.
I used SU! Ornament Keepsakes stamps and dies. The sentiment is PTI.
I'm just going to sit back here and bask in the satisfaction of creating a card with multiple layers (if you know me, you'll know that's rare). I hope you're inspired to join us in the fun!

WCMD - CASEing Gayatri
Hello!
I'm here with another card for World Card Making Day and joining in with Winnie & Walter's WCMD celebrations. Lydia has invited us to choose a Winnie & Walter designer to CASE.
I chose to CASE Gayatri, because she ALWAYS inspires me. You can find the card I'm CASEing on Gayatri's blog HERE. From Gayatri's card I took the light coloured stamping in the background, the vellum, a floral arrangement as focal point, sequins, and a banner sentiment.
Because I don't yet own any Winnie & Walter stamps I used PTI Doodlie-Do and Building Blocks stamps and dies. The banner is Mama Elephant.
School holidays are over. Today we launch into the final term of the year. Only 9 weeks until Summer holidays and so much to do in that time!
Thank-you for visiting!

WCMD - Rainbow Backgrounds
Hello!
For my next card World Card Making Day I have taken inspiration again from the Winnie & Walter WCMD celebrations.
This card was inspired by three of my stops along the W&W WCMD journey:
1 Rainbow Colour with Gayatri - who can resist a rainbow? Certainly not me!
2 Leading Lady Maya Isaksson - oh my! I fell in love with all of Maya's cards with the stamps in black and white and the colourful backgrounds!
3 Background Building with Shay - Shay built a variety of backgrounds to start us on our way, and they're all fabulous!

I used Altenew Striped Florals and PTI Scripted stamps. I stamped the sentiment and main flower on a vellum panel and created a black frame. I created my rainbow with Derwent Inktense pencils.
It was a bit difficult to photograph this one. With the right light for the black embossing, I lost all my colour. With the right light for the colour, my black went funny. Here's another view.
I'm also linking up to Happy Little Stampers October CAS Challenge - embossing on vellum.

WCMD - Pinspiration Focal Point
Hello!
Winnie & Walter are having the most fabulous celebration of World Card Making Day and they've invited us to join in the fun. The good news is that we don't need to use W&W products to take part. I have a wishlist as long as my arm of W&W products but have not yet made my first purchase. I must rectify this problem soon!
I am going to join in a few of the challenges because they're all fabulous. This one is in response to Heather's Pinspiration.
I used Altenew Hennah Elements and coloured with Copics.
This is the gorgeous pinspiration that reminded me that yellow, black, and white is one of my very favourite colour combinations.
While I was still full of this inspiration, I made a second card, and this one I'm also entering into Virginia's View Challenge 24 where the theme is "focal point".

I'm also entering this into CAS-ual Friday's Shaker Card challenge. This is my second ever shaker card. When I made the first one for my nephew last week my eldest daughter requested one for her birthday, too. :-) My daughter turns 14 on Wednesday. I can't believe she's 14 already!

Let's Sit Together and Drink Coffee
Hello!
Every time a Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is happening, I wish to join in. Until now, I haven't. Today, at the very last minute, after looking at so many GORGEOUS coffee, tea, and cocoa themed cards, I'm jumping in to join in the fun! In addition, the latest Tag You're It! challenge is also coffee-themed, so I'm joining in there, too. ;-)
I made a simple card using SU! Balloon Celebrations and Gorgeous Grunge stamps. The die is PTI.
Here in Brisbane we have the most beautiful blue-sky Spring day. There is a good breeze, the temperature is perfect, and the birds are singing. It's so lovely. My laundry is out swinging in that breeze. :-)
Thank-you for dropping by to visit!
