Dynamic Duos #72

Hello!

What an amazingly quick week this last one was! We're back to another week of Dynamic Duos inspiration! This week we have Primrose Petals and Blushing Bride as our colours - pink, pink, pink!

So... of course... automatically... my mind turned to Christmas! Doesn't yours when faced with pink? LOL!
Stamps are PTI Snowflake Serenade. Colours are SU! Primrose Petals, Pretty in Pink, Memento London Fog.
I made two cards this week. I had made the card above when I was struck by additional inspiration while looking at the CASE Study Challenge #159 inspiration for this week. I saw the repeated circle pattern and thought of my Guidelines II stamps, and this card was born.
Stamps are Guidelines II and Botanical Silhouettes (sentiment). Colours are Primrose Petals and Pretty in Pink. The sentiment is white embossed. The tiny pearls are SU!
Thank-you for visiting me!

For Your Inspiration #39

Hello!

It's For Your Inspiration Challenge time!

Here is my card.
I used PTI Guide Lines II and Botanical Silhouettes (sentiment), Mama Elephant Basic Borders. Colours are SU! Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Night of Navy.

This is the inspiration photo for For Your Inspiration #39.
There is lots to work with there. I took the blue and yellow, and I picked up the geometric shapes and light. If I had a triangle stamp, I think I would have used it!

The rest of the team have come up with some great cards, too! Why don't you pay them a visit?

Moxie Fab Sweet Dreams

Hello,

I have made a card for two challenges over at Moxie Fab World.

Tuesday Trigger: Sweet Dreams  and Make Your Own Background Paper.
I used PTI Guidelines II to white emboss the background, and PTI Botanical Silhouettes for the sentiment. The paper is PTI Aqua Mist. Card is PTI Basic White and SU! Pool Party. The Little Leaves are Sizzix.

This is the inspiration photo for the Tuesday Trigger. It's so pretty, I wish I did it more justice. I think if I made this card again, I'd use a paler yellow, and while the guidelines circles is what I was aiming for, I'm not sure I like them now that the whole card is finished, LOL!

Thanks for coming by!

Runway Inspired #24

Hello!

I'm back! And so soon! I had to pop back quickly because the clock is ticking the countdown for entries to Runway Inspired Challenge #24.

This was a tricky one. It has taken me from when the inspiration photo was posted until tonight to figure out just what to make! This is what I came up with.
I used PTI Guidelines II and one of the Think Big Favorites (for the sentiment). The lines are Mama Elephant Basic Borders. Colours are PTI Berry Sorbet, SU! Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise. I muted the colours and softened the edges by overlaying the background with vellum, on which I stamped the black (Stayz On).

This is the inspiration.
Whenever I am faced with inspiration that shows soft/blurry/watercolour style images, I panic, and I get crafters' block! Combine that with start black stripes, and I was completely unable to think of anything, LOL! But, I AM known for liking a challenge, so I couldn't let this one pass me by.

I hope you like it! :-)

For Your Inspiration #35

Hello!

It's time for another For Your Inspiration challenge! We're up to Challenge #35, and this is the beautiful inspiration photo.
Blue, aqua, green, grey, gold, cathedral, bridge, river, spires, arches... oh the inspiration!

For me, I took the colours, and the shapes I used reminded me of church windows.
I created a one-layer sympathy card using PTI Guidelines II and Botanical Silhouettes. Colours are SU! Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Certainly Celery.

The other ladies on the DT have come up with some lovely cards, as always. Why don't you pay them a visit?
