Hello!
We have a very cool sketch this week at CAS(E) This Sketch! I love the dreamy scattered leaves on the sketch and for my card I scattered roses, leaves, and sequins.
I was stamping this card while helping my youngest with homework. She was feeling cranky because she hates homework. She looked over at my stamps and said "Huh! How are those going to look like flowers?!" as I started stamping. Five minutes later she looked over and went "Hey! Where did those roses come from?!" She was still cranky about the homework, but a little sparkle of happiness took hold at the magical appearance of roses where previously there had just been blotches. :-)
I used Altenew Vintage Roses stamps.
I hope you're inspired to join us at CAS(E) This Sketch this week. The team have come up with some beautiful cards and I just know our gallery will be filled with gorgeous creations!
Thanks for visiting me!

CAS(E) This Sketch 209
Hello!
I missed last week at CAS(E) This Sketch! It was an awesome sketch that I was really excited about, too! My life got crazy busy and I ran behind on everything all week and just never caught up! But I'm back this week, yay! And it's another super sketch, double yay!
For my card I did some white embossing of the sentiment, blended some green ink, stamped the flower, cut the panels and adhered, and voila! I was done.

Fusion - Pretty in Pink
Hello!
It's time for a new Fusion Card Challenge! For my card I have used only the sketch in a very CAS style.
It's time for a new Fusion Card Challenge! For my card I have used only the sketch in a very CAS style.
I used Altenew Adore You and MFT sentiment stamps.
I also loosely used the sketch to make this larger format card (8.5" x 5.5") for one of my team members who celebrated her birthday this week.
You might be able to tell that I'm in the middle of a torrid love affair with Altenew Adore You stamps...
The weather recently has been scorching hot. I'm much happier in cold weather and so when the crazy heat hits I tend to wilt and lose all of my energy. I have no air conditioning and so my cardmaking takes a back seat while I spend time either in my pool or laying around under a ceiling fan with a water spray bottle, haha! This past week-end we hit 42 degrees celcius here, overnight it didn't drop below 30, and those hot temps overnight are the real killers - no sleep! I was a bit cranky. ;-) I'm pleased to report it is now slightly cooler. Today only got to 34 degrees and it's much cooler overnight (about 22 degrees) so I can sleep a bit better.
Now I'm off to chase my kid towards homework, piano practice, teeth brushing, and bed.

CAS(E) This Sketch 207
Hello!
I'm popping in with my card for the lastest CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.
I used Uniko Marvellous Mehndi and Altenew Label Love stamps.
I'm also joining in Darnell's NBUS Challenge #10 because this is the first time I've used these stamps from the Marvellous Mehndi set. :-) I'm very pleased to hear that Darnell is recovering well from her big operation and wish her a continued speedy recovery.
Thanks for visiting!

Happy Little Stampers February Watercolour Challenge
Hello!
Happy February! Today is the start of the February Watercolour Challenge at Happy Little Stampers. For my card this month I stamped HLS Doodled Flowers, coloured the flowers and leaves with Kuretake Zig Real Brush watercolour markers. I then masked flowers and leaves and went over the top of everything with Prussian Blue Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolour. I held my breath as I unmasked it all and then breathed a sigh of relief! It turned out just as I had hoped. :-) Then I die cut and stamped the sentiment and adhered it all together.
I used HLS Doodled Flowers stamps and Wplus9 Whole Lotta Happy stamp and die. Paper is Arches Hot Press 300gsm smooth watercolour paper (it's beautiful to work with).
I hope you're inspired to join us in the fun! We had so many amazing entries for the January challenge and I know February will be no different!
