Hello!
My card for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge makes me smile! :-) Super CAS, one layer, clever sentiment, and fun images.
I've been wanting to buy the Stampin' Up! Jar of Love set for a while, mostly because the little fishy in the set is irresistible. I'm not sure what I'll do with him, and I haven't used him on this card, but he's swimming around in my brain waiting to catch an idea for the moment. ;-) For this card, the little firefly was perfect to create that wavy shape of our sketch and the matching sentiment is just wonderful! Until I had stamped all the little bugs I didn't actually realise that there was a stamp for the glow, I was preparing to draw them all! Stamping was so much easier, haha!
I used Stampin' Up! Jar of Love stamps.
How are you inspired by this sketch? I do hope you'll join us in the fun this week!
Thanks for dropping by to say hello!

CAS(E) This Sketch 227
Hello!
This week has been a challenge. I have a cold that has me feeling like I've been hit by a truck. My washing machine stopped working in the middle of a load, full of water, and towels. And I'm so, so tired! But there is good news! My youngest daughter started holidays and spent three days this week going to Code Camp where she created her own computer game app. She loved it! We've had a quiet week together while hubby is traveling for work and big sister is still at camp, which has been lovely despite my illness. The washing machine repair man came and worked his magic. And this week-end we get to pick up my big girl after five weeks of camp! Yay!
I'm here with my card for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.
I used Stampin' Up! Organic Grace stamps (retired) to create this card. I masked, stamped, and sponged before stamping the butterfly and sentiment.
Another very cool sketch from N@ Ali. :-)
I hope you can come and join us in the fun this week!
Thanks for visiting me!

Fusion - flowers
Hello!
It's time for Fusion Card Challenge! For my card this week, you might need to squint to see the fusion of sketch and inspiration photo, but I promise you, it's there! I took the flowers in the corner from the sketch and I loved the white flowers in the inspiration photo, so I made my card with mostly white flowers.
I did add a touch of colour on my flowers and lots of Wink of Stella to add sparkle (which is invisible in this photo, unfortunately). I did lots of masking to create my cluster of flowers and leaves.
I stamped using Altenew Beautiful Day stamps. The sentiment is Wplus9.
I just know that we'll see some amazing red, white, and blue goodness come from this inspiration this week! I can't wait to see the gallery!
Thanks for dropping by to visit me, and as always, thank-you so much for your comments, they make me smile. :-)

CAS(E) This Sketch 226
Hello!
For this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge I've used my favourite colour - Yellow! I really love yellow, black, and white together. :-)
I used Altenew Wild Hibiscus stamps. The sentiment is Simon Says Stamp, I think (it's an old one).
Isn't this a cool sketch? I love it.
As this goes live, I'll be heading into my last day in Sydney before heading home to my family for the week-end. I really love Sydney, but I really don't love travelling for work and being away from my family. Two weeks in a row is enough to last me several months. I'll cross my fingers I get to stay home for a while now. ;-)
Thanks for dropping by! I hope you're inspired to join us in the fun!

Wedding Wishes
Hello!
While playing catch-up on the week-end on the cardmaking front, I made this card to kickstart my mojo. My inspiration came from Muse Card Challenge and Inspired By All The Little Things.
I used Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder, Hero Arts Envelope Pattern background, and PTI Background Basics: Circles stamps.
For my very last minute entry, following Anita's Muse inspriation, I stamped a black and white image, masked, and then added a pink background.
For Inspired by all the Little Things I took the wedding theme and the corner flowers, only mine is a giant single flower rather than the beautiful bouquet of the inspiration.
I'm hoping that I can get a few more cards made over the next couple of weeks to bring me back to schedule so that I can keep up with my regular posting again. ;-)
This week I'm off to Sydney for work for most of the week. Everyone cross your fingers for clear weather for me, at least in the evenings. I really want to head out to Vivid while I'm there to see the gorgeous lights.
Thanks for visiting!

CAS(E) This Sketch 224
Hello!
How did it get to June already? We're almost halfway through the year and I feel like Christmas just finished!
I'm here with my card for CAS(E) This Sketch.
I used Mama Elephant Bear Hugs stamps and coloured with Copics.
Isn't this a cute sketch? I don't feel I've done it justice and I can't wait to see what everyone else makes with it!
I hope you're inspired to join in the fun this week!
Thanks for dropping by to visit!

Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge - Mask
Hello!
Oh my goodness! I had a failure of my scheduling here on Blogger and this post didn't go live this morning! Oops! Sorry about that everyone. :-)
Welcome to June and welcome to the June Watercolour Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. This month the optional twist is "Mask", so I did a little masking before colouring.

Welcome to June and welcome to the June Watercolour Challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. This month the optional twist is "Mask", so I did a little masking before colouring.
I used Altenew Adore You stamps and watercoloured with distress inks before doing a bit of splattering. I finished off with a few sequins.
For those of you wondering how my daughter is going at camp... so am I! I received one letter so far, which was written on her first day there a week and a half ago. I'm hoping for another few letters before she leaves in three weeks' time. ;-) Her first letter was happy and she was looking forward to the next few weeks.
Thank-you for visiting. I hope you're inspired to pull out the watercolours and join us in the fun this month!
