Hello!
This week's inspiration at Fusion Challenge is beautiful. The inspiration photo is perfect for watercolours. I chose to use just the sketch this week, mainly because I ran out of time to create the watercolour beauty that I had imagined!
I did go with the "rainy" theme in making my card a sympathy card.
I used Altenew Wild Hibiscus and Painted Sentiments stamps.
This sketch is a classic and in my card I've gone ultra-CAS in my take on it. Isn't that inspiration beautiful?
Thank-you for visiting!

Fusion - Something Blue
Hello!
It's time for the new Fusion Card Challenge! Both the sketch and the inspiration photo had me reaching for my stamps. So pretty! I had to create a fusion card. :-)

I used SU! Wild About Flowers, PTI Background Basics: Circles, and PTI Botanical Blocks sentiment and dies.
Work has been crazy busy lately. I'm taking holidays from mid-June, but I haven't really been able to put much thought to that yet. I really need to because I'm heading to Europe! I do have my passport organised, and flights booked, but nothing else arranged... oops! Luckily I'm happy to go with the flow!
I hope you are inspired to join us at Fusion. I can't wait to see the gallery.

CAS(E) This Sketch 118
Hello!
I'm here with my card for CAS(E) This Sketch. When I saw the inspiration sketch, I was wishing that I had a stamp of the world. But then I started thinking more laterally. :-) I ended up making a card with a very subtle background and simple sentiment.

I used SU! Regarding Dahlias, which I stamped in PTI Soft Stone. The sentiment is from PTI. What is not visible in the card is the Wink of Stella on the flower.
I'm listening to my budgie speak to me. He only says a few words, but he whistles to me, repeating random tunes that I've whistled to him over time. He's 8 years old. I worry about him living in a smallish cage. But he seems so happy while I talk to him and whistle with him. :-) He sits next to my computer, near the kitchen, in the middle of the action in the house.
Must go and get some sleep. So tired! I hope you are inspired by this week's sketch, and I'll look for you in the gallery!

Feathers Galore!
Hello!
I'm here with a flurry of feathery cards. The first is my entry into this week's CASE Study Challenge. This month at CASE Study, the muse is a selection of the best of the "Oh My Moxie Fab!" posts from Moxie Fab World. I will admit, that these posts were some of my favourites of Cath's. She always came up with something a little surprising, often sending me on journey's of discovery to find out more about the picture she had shared.
These next couple of cards were the original idea I had in my head when I first wanted feather stamps a long, LONG time ago. The pink feather went to one of my daughter's violin teachers. It was taken off my craft desk almost before the ink dried! I think the ink is PTI Hibiscus Burst.
Thanks for coming by to visit me!

I used Waltzingmouse Stamps Fine Feathers stamps. The inks are SU! Cool Cabana (I thought smudging this across my card may be a good way to get rid of the WETness from my pad), plus some sponged Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Crushed Olive. The gold is Delicata Golden Glitz.
My other cards were not made for a particular challenge, but just because I love these feather stamps so much! This card was mostly me checking out how Mama Elephant Hazel ink stamps with a fine image. I can report that it stamps perfectly! These next couple of cards were the original idea I had in my head when I first wanted feather stamps a long, LONG time ago. And finally this one, I used Memento Luxe Nautical Blue.
Today was the third day of school holidays. My youngest daughter still had her gymnastics lesson this afternoon, but other than that we had a day at home. The kids swam in the pool and watched tv. I think they thought they were in heaven! Next week I am back to work and the kids are off to vacation care... I think I'd rather stay on holidays. ;-)Thanks for coming by to visit me!

One Layer Wednesday #99
Hello!
It's been a while since I've played along with One Layer Wednesday. I got a bit confused there for a while and kept missing it! This week, I couldn't resist. Not only is it challenge number #99 (just one more before #100, which I like), but we get to choose our inspiration from Susan's Pinterest Pure Inspiration Board.
This is my card.
I used PTI Botanical Silhouettes. I masked the card front and sponged SU! Bashful Blue and Pool Party. Then I stamped the stems in Certainly Celery, white embossed the flowers, and finished with the sentiment.
This was my inspiration.
As soon as I saw it, I knew what I wanted to create.
I hope you like it, I do!
Thanks for dropping by!

For Your Inspiration #27
Hello!
Oops! I'm late! It's time for a new For Your Inspiration challenge - challenge number #27! Our sponsor for this challenge is The Cutting Cafe, and they have donated three stamp sets for one of our lucky participants. The design team has used some of the sentiments on offer, but there is so much more to choose from.
This week's photo is an interesting inspiration. I love the lighthouse, I love those stormy skies, I love all that grey. And there is that little patch of yellow on the buoy in the foreground. Take a look.
What came to mind straight away was a sympathy card. And here is what I created.
For some reason the photo has come out all fuzzy. It isn't a fuzzy card in real life!
I used Jane's Doodles Pretty Peonies, PTI Pretty Peonies, Hero Arts Say It All, and The Cutting Cafe sentiment. The dies are PTI Mat Stack #1 and Layerz Mat Stack #1. Card is Stampin'Up!
The team have come up with some wonderful cards this challenge. Why don't you visit them and take a look?
