CAS(E) This Sketch 125

Hello!

This week for CAS(E) This Sketch I decided to attempt a masculine card. This card started off as super-CAS, but then I wasn't satisfied so I added more, and then I decided I liked it the way it was originally, lol! Oh well, it's still pretty CAS. ;-)
I used PTI Note Niblets and Mama Elephant Basic Borders (the diagonal stripes). Colours are SU! Real Red and Night of Navy.
I must rush. I have some attention to give to my little girl while her big sister is away at school camp! :-)

Thanks for coming to visit!

CAS(E) This Sketch 124

Hello!

The week has whooshed by and we're back to a new CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge with another AWESOME sketch! The second I saw this sketch, I knew just what I would do, and that involved closely sticking to the sketch, so no "off on a tangent" interpretations from me this week! ;-)
I masked off my white areas (I used washi) and set to repeatedly stamping PTI Note Niblets stamps in multiple colours. I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment (PTI Heart-2-Heart #4). I just LOVE how this card turned out!! I love it when masking works, and it makes me smile just to look at all that flowery goodness.
Yep, no question where I got my design from. It was the amazingly talented Chrissy's sketch, copied to a T.

I cannot wait to see how everyone is inspired by this one. I am sure there are going to be some fabulous interpretations!

Thanks for dropping by!

PTI November Inspiration

Hello!

Last week-end I was browsing blogland and came across the Papertrey Ink November Inspiration Archive post. Funnily enough, I was inspired! Today I bring you a card I made using one of the sketches.
I used PTI Note Niblets, plus the little dots come from Harvest Berries.
There is a lot more inspiration to be had in that PTI post, and I hope to find some time to play a little more. :-)

Thanks for dropping by!

CASE Study 210 - Christmas berries

Hello!

It's the last Thursday of the month which means it is our last week with Debby Hughes as muse at CASE Study. I've loved CASEing Debby this month! Most of the month I stayed pretty close to Debby's inspiration, but today's card took a flight of fancy all by itself, lol! I can see the love hearts and the "happily ever after" on the inspiration card, but all my brain was seeing was Christmas berries. :-)
This is Debby's gorgeous inspiration card.
Thanks for coming by to visit! I can't wait to see how everyone is inspired this week!

CAS(E) This Sketch 92 - birthday cheer!

Hello!

In Australia, right now, it is just after midnight on Friday. Early, early morning on Friday 12 September. That means I can start the birthday celebrations... Happy Birthday to me! :-)  Luckily, I made a birthday card for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge, which I can share with you.
I used PTI Note Niblets and Propose a Toast stamps to create this one-layer card. The photo editing leaves a bit to be desired on this one, sorry about that!
I would love to see your take on this fabulous sketch! It's pretty cool to work with.

So, what does my birthday hold in store? First an early morning run to ensemble practice for my little girl, then a day of work, and then an evening at the school bush dance. I might get to sit down and relax about 10pm when I get home for the day... I think I might celebrate on Saturday instead. ;-)

Thanks for coming by to visit!

CAS(E) This Sketch 87 - Tag You're It!

Hello!

Have we got some excitement for you this week at CAS(E) This Sketch! We are joining up with Jackie's new challenge Tag You're It! and we're giving you all an extra week to truly enjoy the fun! That's right! It's a two week challenge. :-)  You can make a tag, or you can use a tag on your card, or you can just make a card without the tag and join CTS alone, however you want to join in!

I'm not a very experienced tag maker, but I am very willing to give it a go. With Tag You're it! bringing me inspiration, I am sure to try again very soon. This week, I used the sketch from CTS to create my tag. You might need to squint your eyes to see the connection. ;-) I used PTI Note Niblets stamps (what a fun set!). Excuse my twine "tag stand", this is one of my tag challenges, how to photograph them once they're made.

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone's cards and tags over the next two weeks! I just know they will be amazing!

Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop

Hello!

This month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop almost passed me by! I wandered over to check out Make It Monday and discovered the Blog Hop was well and truly underway, oops! So with two hours to spare, I rushed off to my craft table and whipped up a contribution. :-)
I used Note Niblets stamps and dies to create this quick card. Such a cute set! As soon as I saw the banner and little flowers in the inspiration, I knew this was the set to use.
Thank-you for visiting. Now, should I go back to crafting or do some of that housework that is desperately needed?
