CAS(E) This Sketch 166

Hello!

Another week has passed and it's time for the latest CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge! This week's sketch is as fabulous as all the others, and while I did my best to shift the little plane out of my head, it just decided that it wanted to come out to play. ;-)  I love how this one turned out.
I used Papertrey Ink Little Hot Rods stamps and Memory Box dies.
The entries to our last challenge were fabulous! I've enjoyed taking a browse through the gallery so much! I can't wait to see what you all come up with this week!

Thanks for dropping by to visit!

Dynamic Duos #53

Hello!

The week passes by so quickly! Here we are again with another Dynamic Duos Challenge! This week has the option of using a kid-theme. With Pacific Point and Black as the colours, I immediately reached for my Little Hot Rod set. Such cute images for a boy card. :-)
I used PTI Little Hot Rod, and I grabbed some extra cloud dies from Heart-2-Heart #6. Colours are Pacific Point and Black. Twine is Denim from The Twinery.
The other ladies on the Design Team have come up with some beautiful cards also. Why don't you pay them a visit, too?

I hope you are able to come along and join us this week!

Thank you for visiting!

Black and white and a pop of blue!

Hello!

Phew! What a week! I was back to work this week, and spent a couple of days in Canberra, which left me with zero time for crafting. The trip to Canberra involved a 3am wake-up, 4am taxi, and 5am flight - exhausting! I flew home late the following day, and the next morning was 5am start to get my daughter to swim training. I am ready to sleep for a week, but I'm about to launch into another week of work and I haven't recovered from the last, LOL!

Anyway, today I prioritised a little time at the craft desk and came up with this little card.
I used PTI Little Hot Rod, SU! Tempting Turquoise, and Memento Tuxedo Black. Simple!

This card was made in response to three challenges. Less Is More #107 has the theme UP IN THE AIR. My little plane is up in the air at the top of the card.

Dynamic Duos #40 brings us Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black, with a dessert option (which I only noticed after making the card) of Clouds.
CAS-ual Fridays #90 asks us to use Black and White and one other colour.

I hope to sneak back to the craft desk later today, but I have a tonne of housework and grocery shopping to do first... running out of time!

Thanks for coming to visit.

Papertrey Ink 6th Anniversary - Printables part II

Hello!

Here is the second card I made with the Papertrey Ink 6th anniversary printables contest.
I very simply cut out the teacup, matted it on SU! Daffodil Delight, stamped a portion of a sentiment from Little Hot Rod, and wrapped around a SU! ribbon.

Simple, but cute!

Thanks for coming by!

Choo choo!

Hello!

Sometimes I start making a card with a particular idea almost fully formed, other times the card just seems to make itself. This card is an example of the latter. Not quite what I had in mind, but still cute. ;-)
I used PTI Little Hot Rod stamps and dies. Colours are SU! Cameo Coral (I didn't have anything like Melon Berry), Pool Party, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Daffodil Delight, and Memento London Fog for the sentiments. Card base is PTI Basic White.

This is in response to two challenges. Make it Monday #99 calls for us to use rainbows and repeats. My repeats are the clouds. The rainbow scheme I chose was colour scheme #2.
CASE Study this month has the amazing Amber Kemp-Gerstel as muse, and the first card for CASE Study #123 is one of my many favourites of hers.
I really did mean to CASE this more closely, but I ended up focusing on the creation of movement through the use of repeated images.

Thanks for coming by!

LIM#79 in green and blue

Hello!

A quick one-layer card for Less Is More challenge #79 where the theme this week is a colour theme - green and blue.  It's been a while since I played at Less Is More. I need to become a full-time crafter so that I don't keep missing challenges! :-)

I still had PTI Little Hot Rod sitting on my desk, and I couldn't resist making another card. :-) Colours are SU! Night of Navy and Garden Green. The middle vehicle has rhinestone headlights.

You wouldn't believe how many cards I have to make this week-end. I also have to make birthday invitations for my little girl's 5th birthday. Time is rapidly running out!

Up, up and away with CAS-ual Fridays!

Hello!

I have a few little boy birthdays coming up, and so I recently bought Papertrey Ink Little Hot Rod. Such a cute set of stamps! I may use it on the big boys in my life also. :-)

This little card I will probably give to my little nephew.
I used (stamps and dies) PTI Little Hot Rod and Heart-2-Heart #6. Colours are SU! Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, and Daffodil Delight. Card base is PTI Basic White.

I made this for CAS-ual Fridays #64, which asks us to make a card using things you'd find in the sky.

Now, I have something to ask. I have just found that Stampin' Up! have sold out of their (retiring colour) Poppy Parade re-inker. Does anyone have a Poppy Parade re-inker they would like to sell me?  Or, is there anyone outside of Australia who still have this colour available and can get it for me? In this case, there are three of us looking for this colour re-inker! :-)

Thanks for dropping by!
