Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop - Take 2

Hello!

This is my second card for the Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop. It's one of those cards that is "almost" right. I'm itching to remake it, but I'm so tired that I really need to get some sleep! There is certainly enough right about it to post it. In fact, of the cards I made today, this one is my hubby's favourite (even though he called my cards today "Mum cards", which translates to "Grandma cards"). If I was making this for a Mum or Grandma, I'd make it a LOT more flowery. ;-)
I used PTI The Sweet Life and Stylish Sentiments: Birthday.

I was inspired by this colour palette.
I found a guide for how to line up The Sweet Life on Pinterest. The actual tutorial is somewhere in the PTI Forums, but I couldn't access the real link because I keep forgetting my username and password (why is it so hard??). Anyway, my pin is THIS ONE. If you can remember your own username and password on the PTI forums, you can follow my Pinterest link (otherwise just follow the pictures, like I did). These instructions have demystified the process for me. Now I can hand this set back to my friend (who owns it) with some instructions to make it easier! :-)

Thanks for visiting!

This is gorgeous, Michelle! I love how you stamped the sentiment over the roses slightly!

Both of your blog hop cards are just so pretty. I am not a grandmother, and I would love to receive either one. I especially like this one--a great way to highlight both the flowers and the sentiment. Tell your hubby I pinned it.

I love this card just the way it is! Stamping the flowers right on the card is something I haven't done, yet, and will have to try!!

SO pretty...love how it's essentially one layer, but feels like it has so much more dimension. Oh, and I love the pink card base.

It's beautiful, and I can't see any 'redo' to do! I always have trouble with lining this stamp up too, but in my opinion it's hard to tell that it's not perfect. :)

Pretty card! I have the same stamp set and have a lot of trouble lining up the stamps! I persevered and stamped two together and picked the better one for the blog hop.

I think this is gorgeous! What would you do differently if you remade it? And thanks for the line up guide. I don't have this stamp set (yet!) but when I get it I'll be able to use it! LOL!

Just found this when looking for Sweet Life ideas - of course your CAS beaut would catch my eye. And you found tips for stamping the 3-stepper. You're my hero!
