Feeling Blue?

Hello!

I promised myself I was going to bed early tonight. And then I decided to make a card... you know how that goes, LOL!
I used PTI Rosie Posie and Hero Arts Say It All stamps (and I snuck in a few dots from Harvest Berries, too). Ink is SU! Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie.

I'm thinking the only way someone would feel better getting this card, and only if they had a sense of humour, is someone with chicken pox! It turned out quite spotty, didn't it? ;-)

I made this card in response to Dynamic Duos #48
I also made an earlier version, but then realised I'd missed the mark on the sketch slightly, and I decided I preferred the pure blue and orange rather than adding neutrals. I'll show you anyway.

Thanks for coming to visit!

I think both cards are lovely, and I actually like the little dots on the top card - a nice way to add in a little more of the orange and tie it all together. Thank you so much for joining us again at Dynamic Duos. ;-)

They're both cool but I'm drawn more to the spottiness of the first one! LOL! Thanks for playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch this week!

Funny how the idea of making one more card gives you that second wind at night. Just wish it would carry through to when the alarm goes off! :D

Both cards are great, and to be honest, I like the spotty look, it adds just the right amount of extra orange. Thanks for sharing your cards with us this week at Dynamic Duos.

Oh totally, love the full-on, embrace blue and orange version! It's wonderful. Love how you strategically placed all your spots in the negative spaces ... what a controlled spatter look!

I love orange and blue combo. What great idea stamping the smaller flowers diagonally accented with the orange dots? Love it. Great take on the sketch. Thanks for playing along with us @ CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge:)
