Hello,
I'm here to share a card for Runway Inspired Challenge #34.
I used Simon Says Stamp Flower Friend, PTI Sentiment Signs. Ink is Memento Tuxedo Black.
I wanted to mimic the flow of the flowers up the side of the dress and also the stark black and white. At the same time, I couldn't miss the model's bright red lips, so I added a little bit of red bling.
Here is the inspiration.
I wanted to add some words regarding the bombing in Boston, but everything I write doesn't sound right. Suffice to say that I am horrified at the people who would choose to target innocent bystanders when making their "stand" against whatever they are against (an nothing is worth this). Intolerance breeds intolerance, hate breeds hate, and this is not how I want the world to be for my children. My heartfelt sympathies to the friends and families affected by the bombing, and to the people of Boston.

super cool..love the piece of black paper that creates a frame for your flowers!
LOVE this - you've captured the inspiration really, really well!
Beautiful job!
Your words on Boston are very understood and appreciated Michelle. It just doesn't make sense.
I love your card too.
This is wonderful, Michelle!! Love how you captured all the elements of her dress and the background!
This is gorgeous Michelle, and the perfect pop of red!
Awesome take on the photo, Michelle! Love the tiny touches of red! :)
Fabulous card! Love it!
This is absolutely gorgeous Michelle! Love the way you stamped everything, and the red bling is just the right amount; looks perfect!
Such a beautiful take in the inspiration!
Another drop dead gorgeous design! I love the perfect asymmetrical stamping on this! AND I adore the tiny spots of red for the flowers! I'd say this is SPOT ON! So glad that you join the fun, Michelle!
So classy! I love the design of the flowers around the subway art and the b&w behind. You make that stamp set look so versatile. Congrats on the TT win!
This is such a fabulous design, Michelle. Love the black framing around the stamped area and the way you dangled a few images across "the border". Ditto on Boston.
Stunning! I love black, white and red and this is such an elegant take on the inspiration photo :)
You did a very fine job commenting about Boston, Michelle, considering how really difficult it is to find the words.
Your RIC card is another "thud" RIC card from you! I mean, dang, girl, if they don't ask you to be on the DT over there, they're missing out. Like the ladies on the DT, you rock that challenge again and again and again!!
I love the invisible line that is drawn up the centre of your card.... a really clever design and love the pop of red too :0)

Really fabulous!
Oh Michelle, this is stunning! I think it was brilliant to put the black cardstock on the card base, but behind the white panel- it really draws your attention to the left side of the card! Thanks so much for joining us on the Runway :)
